The Republic of Maldives consist of a string of atolls in the western Indian Ocean. It lies between latitudes 1°S and 8°N, and longitudes 72° and 74°E. We have visited the Maldives many times since our first trip in 1988 to Bandos in North Male Atoll. Our latest trip was to Reethi Beach Resort in the Baa Atol and Reethi Faru Resort in the Raa Atoll in July 2018. |
