Acanthodoris pilosa (Abildgaard in Müller, 1789)

The south end of Calve Island, Sound of Mull on the west coast .
2 x 28 mm animals with spawn on the finger bryazoan, Alcyonidium diaphanum, at 18 metres. Many animals from 15 - 35 mm size with spawn and in a range of colours between the two forms above.
Water temperature 13°C.
