Dendronotus frondosus (Ascanius, 1774)

30 April, 2001.
On the reef at Kentallen Pier in Loch Linnhe on the west coast.
A 26 mm long animal at 18 metres in 8° C water on a hydroid. This seems to be an intermediate colour between the 'white' and 'red' colourings previously seen.
Nikon 90SX with 60mm lens with +3 dioptre in Subal housing, housed SB26 flash and Nikonos 105 slave flash (and lots of back scatter).
