Manse reef at Ballachulish, Loch Leven on the west coast. In 12 metres the distinctive concertina ribbon of eggs on the stem of the hydroid. There were many of the animals and spawn among the hydroids between 10 and 20 metres on the day.
Nikonos 5 with 2:1 extension tube on 35 mm lens and Ikelite 50 flash.
