Lomanotus genei Verany, 1846

Dunollie Point, Oban on the west coast. 
A 50 mm long animal on the hydroid Nemertesia ramosa in the top image and on kelp later in the lab; on the rocky reef at the point to the south of the entry. Water temperature 9° C at 12 metres
Fuji 810 camera in Ikelite housing, 2 x Inon D-2000 flashes and Inon UCL-165AD CU lens.
