Pleurobranchus membranaceus (Montagu, 1815)

19 November, 2003.
South Gortein, Loch Fyne on the west coast.
Found at 8 m in 12° C water. This animal and many others were found to be feeding on tunicates. On detaching the animal from its food and turning it over, the oral feeding tube can be seen retracing into the body.
