Pleurobranchus membranaceus (Montagu, 1815)

 

11 June, 2004.
Badluchrach Jetty, Little Loch Broom on the west coast.
This animal, approx, 80mm long was one of several seen with spawn at 14 metres depth. The water temperature was 12°C. At another site nearby the next day further examples of spawn were found at similar depths and more animals of similar size at another site.
